The Mile-High Poop Club

Trouble with the lavatories on a Continental Airlines flight across the Atlantic Ocean (Amsterdam to Newark) on June 13 forced more than 200 passengers to endure the overflow of raw sewage on the jet.

Flight attendants even reportedly conducted their routine meal service, despite the unpleasant conditions. But they advised passengers not to eat or drink too much, since the lavatories were out of order – and they had a long way to go before landing in New Jersey.
